Advertising Campaign Project

 

 

10 Slogans
Find 10 different product advertisements that use a popular "Slogan." Paste each Ad into a Microsoft Word file and write a one paragraph (40 words minimum) explanation of the Effectiveness of each Slogan.

Ad Campaign
Select a product to create an Ad Campaign around. Follow the guidelines in the Ad Campaign Project. Print each Ad you create, AND show the ad to Mr. Zorn on the Computer before deleting it for the final grades

OPTION #1

Video Montage
2-3 Minutes, 10 Transitions, Footage and Music Only, Opening Title, Closing Credits

Gather and Capture/Transfer Footage

(Footage can be shot by students' own cameras outside of school, with the school's cameras during school and on campus, or copied from other sources such as video tapes or other media)

Copy Music Soundtrack
Students must bring SCHOOL APPROPRIATE music CDs in for copying music into their project

Editing
Edit Montage in Pinnacle Studio 11 on the classroom computers, being sure to include each of the required elements listed under the Project

Archiving
Render (Make Movie) Final version to computer hard drive and place a paper with the specific location and name of your project on it to the turn in box

Videography For Beginners

OPTION #2

News Report
2-3 Minutes, Report Intro, Main Ideas, and Conclusion, At least one Video Interview, Opening Title, Closing Credits

Writing
Write 200 Word Minimum News Story that Covers some aspect of DRHS/DRMS

Videotaping
Videotape Reporter Intro, Main Points, Conclusion

Interviewing
Write at least 5 Interview Questions and Videotape an Expert on your topic answering the questions

Editing
Edit Report in Pinnacle Studio 11 on the classroom computers, being sure to include each of the required elements listed under the Project

Archiving
Render (Make Movie) Final version to computer hard drive and place a paper with the specific location and name of your project on it to the turn in box

Videography For Beginners

OPTION #3

Claymation/Stop Motion
60 Seconds and 300 Frames minimum, at least 3 instances of Voice Over Dialogue or Narration, Opening Title, Closing Credits

Writing
Write Rough Draft of "Story" to Present

Storyboarding
Create detailed Storyboard including visual plan combined with dialogue/narration

Modeling
Create Models/Scenery to use in project

Photography
Capture action frames with digital still camera in class, transfer stills to Pinnacle Studio 11 Editor and Edit to fit the requirements as listed

Archiving
Render (Make Movie) Final version to computer hard drive and place a paper with the specific location and name of your project on it to the turn in box
